Niles Goldstein
Rabbi Niles Elliot Goldstein is the founding rabbi of The New Shul, an innovative and independent congregation in New York City, where he has served as its spiritual leader since 1999. He is on the faculty of New York University and CLAL—The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership. Goldstein's essays and poetry have appeared in various publications around the country, including Newsweek, the Los Angeles Times, and Newsday. He has been featured in magazines and newspapers including Time, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Christian Science Monitor, and the Jerusalem Report, as well as on domestic and international television and radio such as Dateline, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, the Voice of America, and the BBC. Goldstein was a regular contributor to the show New Morning on the Hallmark Channel.
