James Ian Walter
A Montgomery, Alabama, native, the Rev. Dr. James Ian Walter was ordained as an Episcopal priest in 1959. In 1968 he received his Doctorate in Counselor Education from Auburn University, after which he served on the staff of the East Alabama Mental Health Center. In 1969, after becoming a licensed psychologist, he served as its Executive Director for 25 years. From 1995 to the present he has been a part-time priest at St. John's in Montgomery. His book Moments of Forever celebrates the significant times—some joyful, some sorrowful, but all moving—that have composed what has most certainly been a wonderful life. |
